Hi,

You are reading PRN #7 containing the recent news about the Parsix
project.

[ Viola Support Ends ]
We are going to put an end to Parsix Viola support on April 30, 2009. 
We highly recommend all Viola users to upgrade to BOSS. Viola 
repositories also will be deleted from our hosting servers to free up 
resources for the next major release. For more information about Parsix 
BOSS and upgrade instructions, see BOSS release notes [1].

[ Parsix GNU/Linux 3.0 aka Kev ]
The next major release of Parsix GNU/Linux code name `Kev` is 
planned to be release on the middle of August 2009. Kev will be
shipped with GNOME 2.26, Linux 2.6.29 based kernel and lots of 
new and exciting features including USB installer, NetworkManager as 
default networking interface, GFXBoot, FastBoot, TuxOnIce 3.0-Final 
etc. Initial Kev repositories will be formed after Viola repository 
clean-up on early May 2009.

Follow the Parsix website and community forums for updates regarding
to Kev development.
