Hi,

You are reading PRN #6 containing the recent news about the Parsix
project.

[ Ramon Support Ends ]
We are going to put and end to Parsix Ramon on July 29, 2008. So, we 
highly recommend to Ramon users to upgrade to Viola. Ramon repositories 
also will be deleted.

[ Viola r1 Release Schedule ]
Viola r1 is almost ready and is going to be released on July 27, 
2008. Viola r1 ships GNOME 2.22.3, updated installer system, GNU 
Iceweasel 3.0.1 and several fixes for reported bugs. As always, its 
possible to update existing installations using apt.

[ Parsix GNU/Linux 2.0 aka Boss Skua ]
The next major release of Parsix GNU/Linux will be named `Boss Skua`. 
Initial Boss Skua repositories will be formed after release of Viola 
r1. Apt code name will be `boss`. Boss Skua will ship GNOME 2.24, Linux 
kernel 2.6.26 or 2.6.27 and lots of updates from Debian testing branch. 
More information will be posted during the next month.
