[ Build Server Status ]
Finally, we got our new build server running in a quite stable state 
and as you see on the watch system [1], all new packages are being 
built using it. Queue system is still under development.

[ Ramon Status Update ]
While developing and fixing build server, Ramon also got lots of 
updates, GNOME 2.18.1 and finally a brand new 2.6.23.1 based kernel.
This new kernel has many dramatic changes. Old IDE system is replaced 
with libata for almost all controllers except VIA. This means that 
everybody with non-VIA IDE controller chip sets, will get new names for 
their drives: all drives will be recognized as sd** rather than old 
hd**. So, if you are a non-VIA IDE user, you **must** update your /etc/
fstab and replace all hd** entries with sd** to be able to boot into 
the system using new kernel. VIA IDE users do not need to touch the 
fstab file. What's your IDE controller? Just do a simple lspci | grep 
IDE. To install new kernel, do an apt-get update && apt-get install 
parsix-kernel or parsix64-kernel for amd64 systems.

Old ipw3945 wireless driver has been replaced with new iwlwifi family 
drivers. So, new ipw4965 chip sets are supported now. After updating 
your system, do: apt-get install firmware-iwlwifi && apt-get --purge 
remove ipw3945d firmware-ipw3945.

[ Live CD Structure Changes ]
Ramon will be shipped with a brand new and improved structure for live 
CD. SquashFS-Zlib compression has been replaced with SquashFS-lzma 
method and we can put lots of more applications on the CD-ROM. We 
appreciate your suggestions about new nice applications. Live CD  
booting system is also updated. 

[ Ramon TEST 1 ISO ]
We are planning to make the first alpha release of Ramon ready on 
November 30, 2007.
