I have a strange problem with Compiz desktops I can have any number from 1 to 10+ but not the default 4 as soon as I set to 4 it resets to 2 this only happens when I try to set to 4 I currently use 6 but want to set up the spherical world caps but they are made for the default 4.

Hi mandog,

Yes, I also have noticed that the Compiz Desktops act strangely. Prior to the last update for Compiz, I was able to easily switch between desktops using arrow keys, the desktop switcher panel applet or running my finger along the edge of the laptop's scroll pad. Currently, the only way that I can switch between desktops is by the Expose-like feature of Compiz. While that is fine for me, I was wondering if others have had problems with Compiz. Does this mean that the Compiz package is "broken" in some way?
