how do i remove gnome to install kde?
i want to use only the kde...

what to do?

# apt-get install kdm && apt-get --purge remove gdm

Then login to KDE and remove libgtk2.0-0

# apt-get --purge remove libgtk2.0-0

whats about metacity and gnome? will it also be removed?
only removing and purging gdm seems to simple to be true!
then removing libgtk - ok i try!
thanks for that - by the way youre supporting also kde-things?

so i turned back to gnome -
the kdm wont be there i first have to login by terminal besides that the grub-splash is gone...
and - so i decided to getting used to use gnome!
