First things first. Parsix seems like a very nice distro! Almost like debian, but customized the way i like it.
But i got a few problems.

1.
Glipper wont start. It installs, but somehow it wont wotk. I have to install an older version, in order to get it to work.
Any idea why glipper aint working, or am i the only one?

2.
Normally i can specify that i want to use the windowskey, to start a terminal. But for some reason, there is no such option in the preferences--Keyboard shortcuts.
Again, is it just me or?

3.
When i install a program, i dont show in the menus until i kill the gnome-panel. Is this normal behavior?

So three problems, that i cant solve. Hope someone smarter than me, is willing to help.

Nope it is not just you, seems like Parsix has a "bastardized" version of the gnome keyboard shortcuts.

Seems like we are missing the "Window Management" section.

Its normal with the menus.I think their is a terminal code to refresh Gnome menus But i've forgotten it?.Terminal keyboard never bothered till your post no their aint one, But my roller ball mouse is faster than pressing keys so I never looked before. Perhaps the devs can shed some light on it they are quite helpful.

To update the menus: killall gnome-panel

Open a terminal is located under Desktop section in Prefs->Keyboard shortcuts Smile

Seems a little weird, please test with root user and report the result / or create a new test user and check it. I want to find the source of this problem.
