Hi,
At the moment, I triple-boot Windows, Parsix and another Debian-based distribution. I like the Parsix theme, but is there anywhere I can download it? I haven't found it on gnome-look.org

Looking for the Parsix theme ? No need to find a download, Put in a Parsix Live/Install CD in your cdrom drive and open with a file manager, there go to the path:
/usr/share/images/desktop-base
In the "desktop-base" folder you will find the "parsix-splash.png" file. Then copy it to where every you want to in your file system or storage area. You will then have a copy of the Parsix theme

There's much more to the Parsix theme set than the desktop background.
apt-get install --reinstall -d parsix-graphics
will put the *.deb archive in the directory /var/cache/apt/archives. (Don't use the "--reinstall" switch if you haven't got it installed already.)
apt-get source -d parsix-graphics
will put the source package in the same place.
Please see the "apt-get" man page for more information. |
