Finally, after about two months hard working, Parsix GNU/Linux 0.75 is ready! This version is the most complete and stable release of the Parsix GNU/Linux ever. Many many improvements have been made since 0.70, such as new look and feel, highly improved installation system with existing installation update feature (See installation guide for more information), automatic USB mass storage management, GNOME 2.12.2 desktop environment, Kernel 2.6.14.5 optimized for i686 and k7, i686 optimized libc6 with NPTL support, Xorg 6.9.0, new live and GRUB splash screens, Parsix-Documentation (User starter and installation guides), Many updated packages like OpenOffice.org 2.0.0, GIMP 2.2.10, Firefox 1.5, Gaim 1.5.0, udev 0.080, Gparted 0.0.9, Gnomebaker 0.5.0, Evince 0.4.0, Synaptic 0.57.7.1, Evolution 2.4.2.1, Balsa 2.3.8, Liferea 1.0, Pan 0.14.2.91, GQview 2.0.1, gtkam 0.1.12, Kino 0.80, GNUSound 0.7.4, Totem 1.2.1, Grisbi 0.5.7 and more, all synchronized with Debian Sid repository as Jan 17, 2006, updated xFarDic Multilingual dictionary to 0.7.4 and a new background image.
