What's Parsix GNU/Linux?
Parsix GNU/Linux is a live and installation CD derived from KANOTIX and based on Debian. It is a complete GNOME centric desktop oriented distribution. Parsix GNU/Linux supports dozens of languages including English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Persian and many many more. You can install and use Parsix GNU/Linux as your default operating system. We have also included xFarDic multilingual dictionary and several free font packages. What's Our Goal?
Our goal is to provide a ready to use, easy to install, desktop and laptop optimized operating system based on Debian's testing branch and the latest stable release of GNOME desktop environment. We also try to fit the maximum possible popular high quality open source applications on a single CD-ROM media. Also it is possible to install extra software packages from Parsix APT repositories. Our annual release cycle consists of two major and four minor versions.
